Well guides don’t make much of anything. Infact, the ones that do guide don’t make a living out of guiding exclusively, they primarily do it during the hunting season when they take vacations from their normal jobs. The real money, and long term careers you hear about and see on those TV hunting channels are from people that own the game ranches (several thousand acreas). Problem is that you won’t make enough doing that to afford the payments on the land doing that. Those that have those places usually made their money doing something else and then started the “game ranch” after being highly successful doing something else and usually paid cash for their ranches.
