Hunting History

Hunting game for food, clothing and shelter is a big part of the story of the human race. It predates the human civilization we know today in many ways. There is evidence that we used larger animals for food almost two million years ago.

Hunting Safety

Every year, hundreds of hunting accidents occur across America. Many of these accidents could have been avoided by practicing gun safety techniques. If your weapon came with an ownerís manual, read it from cover to cover.

Bow Hunting

With bow hunting, people are getting in touch with the control of the hunt and are learning all sorts of new things about getting in tune with themselves and using their own bodily power to get in touch with the zen of hunting.

try sportsmansguide.com they usually have great prices on everything. I don’t know much about hunting but they are an afforable source of sporting goods.

Yes it is. If you have access to welding equipment you can weld together some light but durable pipes and put a camo cover over it.

Are you using it for bow or shotgun? The Guide Gear® Deluxe Ground Blind is great for both! It goes up in less than a minute and only weighs 14lbs. I have one and love it! Plus has shoot through windows. Zero detection by those trophy bucks. All for around $50

Wal-mart sells them. About the size of a big “port-a-pottie”.
They fold up like a folding chair.

Sportmans Guide has good deals and has fold up ones.

You can make you own with camo cloth available everywhere and use tent poles to make it.

I have also seen small camo tents that might work with a few mods.

They got some that are like pop up tents. Check out Cabela’s.

I have used a hay rack with bales on it. Works great.

Why do you want to kill a deer? Do you need the food? Or is it because of the fun of killing something? Why not take a camera & let the deer live?
