Hunting History

Hunting game for food, clothing and shelter is a big part of the story of the human race. It predates the human civilization we know today in many ways. There is evidence that we used larger animals for food almost two million years ago.

Hunting Safety

Every year, hundreds of hunting accidents occur across America. Many of these accidents could have been avoided by practicing gun safety techniques. If your weapon came with an ownerís manual, read it from cover to cover.

Bow Hunting

With bow hunting, people are getting in touch with the control of the hunt and are learning all sorts of new things about getting in tune with themselves and using their own bodily power to get in touch with the zen of hunting.

Solid lanyard

Seems like a quality built lanyard. A little lighter than I thought it would be, but thats because of the material. 3 tone color (brown, tan, green). Holds my calls tightly. Haven't used it in the field, but dont forsee any problems. Would have liked it to be a little tighter wound, but thats just preference.

Picture here and Hunter's Specialties website show the lanyard as round braid, not zippered as it is. Everything else is correct. Would rather have round braid but the zippered braid is fine. The lanyard is bigger around than looks in the picture, but nothing a knot tied in the back won't fix. I like everything else about the lanyard. Would definately recommend it. Holds calls well and looks great.
